NightinGala and Nurse Hero Awards

The 2024 NightinGala and Nurse Hero Awards was a great success! The May 3 event sold out at a capacity of 250. The college is always honored to present this program that celebrates nursing and recognizes the impact of the nursing profession. We are grateful for the community support of this gala! 

Zenobia Harris, DNP, MPH, BSN, of Little Rock, Ark., won the Dr. John W. Runyan, Jr. Community Nursing Award for her work with the Arkansas Birthing Project. Micah Lindsey, RN, of Baptist Memorial Health Care, won the Bedside Nurse Hero Award. Amanda Taylor, DNP, ANP-BC, SANE-A, SANE-P, director of nursing at the Shelby County Crime Victims Rape Crisis Center, received the Advanced Practice Nurse Hero Award. Claudia Neira, DNP, FNP-BC, chief clinical officer for Lifedoc Health, won the Executive Nurse Leader Hero Award.
